Call for Visiting Professors I semester 2021-2022
CALL FOR VISITING PROFESSORS 2021-2022
The Department of Italian and Supranational Public Law of the University of Milan issues a call for one position of Visiting Professor for the first semester 2021-2022 within the project “Dipartimento di Eccellenza”: Law, Justice and Sustainable Development financed by the Italian Ministry of University and Research.
In light of the above-mentioned project, the Department of Italian and Supranational Public Law welcomes Visiting Professors to contribute to the teaching and research activities of the Department in one of the following areas: Rule of law and Development; Sustainable Development Goal 16 and access to justice; SDG 16 and Human Rights Protection; Institutions implementing SDG 16.
Eligible candidates are international scholars who fill positions equivalent to those of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Full Professor existing in Italian Universities.
During their stay at the University of Milan Visiting Professors will be required to offer at least 16 hours of teaching in MA/single-cycle courses and PhD courses. The teaching activity must be scheduled during the first semester 2021-2022 (from September 25th to December 10th 2021).
The selected Visiting Professor will carry out teaching activities on-site at the University of Milan, but if the current Covid-19 emergency situation should continue during the academic year 2021-2022, the Department may choose to have teaching activities on-line.
Visiting Professors will be paid the gross amount of 3.600 euros.

Application forms must be filled out and submitted by May 31st 2021
Applications must include:
- CV with a list of publications:
- plan of teaching activities on the topics to be carried out during the period of stay;
- period of stay;
- a photocopy of the applicant’s Identity Card/passport;
Applications are assessed by the Visiting Professors Selection Committee appointed by the Department of Italian and Supranational Public Law.
Successful applicants will be notified by June 31st 2021.
